hang me out

This wind feels good

Truly this is one of the strangest uses of one my songs in a youtube video yet.

#ilovemagnetsbut?

From one to another, and a lot of faith,
that with time, these acts will be finished,
and time will say “No,” even though
these juries are allowed
gated sleep, normal, middle, muddled
and wrong as hell.

This, my newest song, seems to have flown straight into my life out of nowhere and everywhere at the same time, like so many things I love. It was recorded at home in Portland, Oregon over the course of a rainy night just before summer decided to stick around for a while (for now).Dedicated to Rachael Renee’ (who also happens to have taken the fine photo attached).

A phone recording of Rachael Renee’ and you-know-who, picking and singing a favorite old tune written by the force of nature known as M Ward. If you happen to know what the flower represented in the photo is called, please don’t hesitate to inform us…

Please check out the work these folks are doing. It is simple, and complex as all get out at the same time. I quote, “In the long run,” and leave it at that.

Yesterday knew.

For all the hung-up, hi-strung, late-night, dancers.
